Last weekend, Sanzar Group took part in the Industrial, Agricultural, and Livestock Fair of Los Monegros (FEMOGA), held in Sariñena (Huesca). Our presence included a dedicated stand where we showcased our digital agriculture modules, which combine high-precision satellite imagery, artificial intelligence, and IoT technology, all with a clear goal: to improve irrigation efficiency and optimize crop management.

Technical Session: Artificial Intelligence and Sensors for the Field

On Saturday at 7:00 p.m., the fair hosted the Technical Session on Artificial Intelligence and Sensors in Digital Crop Management, as part of FEMOGA’s official program.

The talk, titled “Learn to manage your crops with high-precision satellite images and IoT sensors”, was presented by:

  • Víctor Gómez, CTO of Sanzar Group.

  • David Ortiz, Software Manager of Sanzar Group.

After the presentation, David Ortiz, and Víctor Gómez carried out live demonstrations, showing how AI algorithms and field sensors can monitor crop status in real time and support data-driven decision-making. These demonstrations, held in the outdoor machinery area, generated great interest among attendees.

Demonstration Day: Installing and Leveraging IoT in Irrigation

In addition, Sanzar Group organized a demonstration day where farmers learned how to install IoT sensors in the field and explored the benefits of their implementation. From optimizing irrigation water use to reducing costs and increasing productivity, attendees experienced firsthand how these technologies pave the way towards more sustainable and efficient farming.

Connecting with Farmers and Exploring Opportunities

Throughout the fair, we held several conversations with farmers interested in adopting digital solutions. These exchanges opened the door to future collaborations, including with the Cooperative of Los Monegros, with whom we will explore synergies to boost innovation in the region’s agricultural sector.

Moving One Step Closer to Precision Agriculture

Sanzar Group’s participation in FEMOGA reaffirms our commitment to the farming sector and our mission to bring advanced technology tools to farmers—empowering them to face today’s and tomorrow’s challenges with data-driven, innovative solutions.

At Sanzar Group, we believe that the future of farming is built on technology, sustainability, and collaboration.
